The exact age cut-offs, nationality rules, acceptable qualifications, medical standards and course-specific conditions are set out in the official notice.
Check the full UPSC notice before relying on an eligibility summary. The course-specific conditions are not interchangeable.
Fee shown in the notice: ₹200; women and SC/ST candidates are exempt. Confirm the full exemption rules in the notice.
Selection and what qualified candidates should do
- Open the official written-result PDF and search your roll number. The press note publishes roll numbers.
- If qualified, follow the SSB interview instructions for your first-choice Service. Candidates with Army as their first choice are directed by UPSC to register on the Army recruiting website for call-up information.
- Submit original age, education and other required certificates to the relevant Service Headquarters by the deadline stated in the UPSC result notice. Do not send original certificates to UPSC.
- Keep checking UPSC and the relevant Service’s official portal for SSB updates, final results and marks.
The UPSC press note says marks for candidates will be available on UPSC’s online portal within 15 days after publication of the final OTA result, and remain available for 30 days.
